Outdoor World Hosting Spring Fishing Seminars
By Steve Waters, [email protected]
Meet top bass and kingfish anglers and pick up fishing tips from a host of experts at the Spring Fishing Classic Thursday through Sunday at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in Dania Beach.
Among the fishermen on hand are 2000 BASS Masters Classic champion Woo Daves, 2001 Southern Kingfish Association angler of the year Rob Dunagan, and television fishing show hosts Mark Sosin, Roland Martin and Jimmy Houston.
Several tackle companies, such as Shimano, Pradco, Mustad and Shakespeare, will have booths displaying their products and representatives on hand to answer questions. Seminars will be held throughout the event on everything from trick casting to snook fishing to using downriggers.
There also will be opportunities to win gift certificates, a fishing trip and a bass boat.
The Classic begins with a sneak preview from 5-10 p.m. Thursday. Call 954-929-7710 or visit www.basspro.com for more information.
