Boat ramp parking to be enforced
Beginning Thursday, no vehicles can be parked at Hays Boat ramp unless they are pulling boat trailers, said Henderson Police Chief Ed Brady.
This rule applies only to holidays and weekends, he said.
"There's plenty of parking by the ball fields," he said, for cars without boat trailers.
Those vehicles that don't comply with this rule will be cited, he said.
Brady said last weekend city police issued about 75 tickets for violations at the boat ramps.
