Luxury Megayacht Vacations Gain New Affordability
When Booked on Individual-Stateroom Basis
NEW CASTLE, Del., Jan. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Vacationing aboard an elegant megayacht has traditionally been viewed as a luxury that only the supremely wealthy can afford. Now an exclusive vacation company is challenging that assumption.
Most people have the perception that you have to be worth several million dollars to even get aboard a megayacht, says David Koontz, co-founder of Celles Maritime Adventures, which makes it possible for people to book individual staterooms aboard privately owned 90' to 175' megayachts for seven-night luxury vacation cruises. (All-inclusive costs begin at $5,500 per person based on double occupancy.)
"Our yachts visit destinations that even the finest cruise ships can't reach -- like the islands of Greece's Argosaronic Gulf," says Koontz. "No more than 14 people share in any cruise, and we work directly with yacht owners and captains to create extraordinarily personalized vacation experiences."
Celles' YachtEscape cruises focus on near-shore explorations of the land and sea attractions of unique and intriguing destinations worldwide.
Initial YachtEscape offerings include a cruise through Greece's Cyclades Islands, a summer dive vacation off St. Martin, a gourmet food and wine cruise along Italy's Amalfi Coast, winter escapes in the Caribbean's Leeward Islands and the British Virgin Islands, a historic journey along Scotland's Loch Ness, and a specialized Scottish golf cruise allowing members to play some of the world's most exclusive courses.
"Our cruises are changing accessibility to a dream," says Koontz' partner Michael Kilgore. "In addition to people who've never vacationed on a megayacht before, we're getting tremendous interest from experienced charterers who no longer want to assume the excessive costs or responsibilities of a full-boat charter."
All of Celles' yachts are professionally managed and skippered by seasoned charter captains. Gourmet food and fine wine are the norm, while crew members take pride in pampering their guests with attentive service.
Forty-four departures are planned for Celles Maritime Adventures' first year of operations, with additional itineraries currently being developed for the Turkish Coast, the Bahamian out islands, and New Zealand.
All-inclusive seven-night YachtEscape cruises start at $5,500 per person based on double occupancy. For more information about itineraries and vessels, or to book a cruise, visit www.yachtescape.net or call (877) 213-7880.
