NEW YORK, Aug. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- North-South Books announced today the launch of "Silver Scales Heart of Gold" campaign, a national effort featuring the beloved Rainbow Fish, world-renowned for caring and sharing, that encourages kids to show their hearts of gold, by demonstrating kind and compassionate behavior. Each child who does 25 good deeds, records them on a sticker chart, and mails in the chart to North-South will receive a free Rainbow Fish bath towel. Serviced through bookstores initially, the campaign will be adapted for schools and libraries as well.

For ages 3-7, the series will launch with four titles and a total print of more than 1.5 million copies. Each book will contain two sheets of holographic foil-stamped stickers.
