Gander Mountain Promotion To Support Wisconsin Hunting & Fishing Alliance
DECEMBER 10, 2025 -- Gander Mountain will raise funds for the Wisconsin Hunting & Fishing Alliance in its 13 Wisconsin stores through the sale of Brewster the Badger.
The eight-inch long, plush Brewster the Badger will support the WHFA's goal of seeking passage of a constitutional amendment in Wisconsin, guaranteeing the state's citizens the right to hunt, fish and take game.
"Gander Mountain is proud to work with the WHFA to protect fishing and hunting, two of Wisconsin's most popular outdoor activities," said Mike Sidders, Gander Mountain director of marketing. "Our customers in Wisconsin care deeply about this issue, so we were eager to get involved with the WHFA. Brewster the Badger gives our customers a chance to help the cause, too."
Brewster arrived in Wisconsin Gander Mountain stores in early December and will remain until supplies last. Twenty-five percent of the sale price of each Badger will go toward the WHFA, a non-profit alliance of individuals, corporations and associations. "The WHFA is excited Gander Mountain has taken a leadership role in regards to this issue in Wisconsin," said WHFA spokesman Dan Gunderson.
"The sale of Brewster will help raise the awareness and the funds needed to guarantee that our children, grandchildren and all future generations will have the opportunity to hunt and fish in Wisconsin."
