New island boat slips completed, up for sale

Another picture in the Marco Island's ever-changing facade is complete with the final touches made to construction of the 71-slip Marina at Factory Bay.
The marina and slips, built and offered by Pier 81 Marina Inc., protrude from the twin- tower Pier 81 development completed earlier this year on Bald Eagle Drive.
The marina received a certificate of occupancy July 12, 2002.
The site formerly housed Factory Bay Marina and Vito's Restaurant.
Both projects fall under the umbrella of area-developer Jack Antaramian's Antaramian Development Corporation.
Sales director of the Marina, Dick Shanahan, said 27 of the boat slips are reserved for purchase by Pier 81 condo owners, while the rest are available for public purchase at prices starting around $125,000.
