Sika Marine Introduces Do-It-Yourself Boat Repair Kits

of Sika Industry announces three new Do-It-Yourself Boat Repair Kits. These
kits provide boat owners just what each repair project requires and in just the
right amounts using the same sealing and bonding materials used by major
boat builders worldwide. The kits available include:
Sika Marine Polycarbonate & Acrylic Window and Hatch Kit
This kit is designed for bonding polycarbonate and acrylic materials,
installing frameless plastic window and port lights, bonding plastic shower
walls and countertops and replacing plastic hatch panes.
Sika Marine Bonding and Repair Kit
This kit is designed for repairing decks to hulls, installing framed
windows, repairing bulkhead walls and transoms and struts, bonding flying
bridges, bonding rub rails/guards, and bonding cabinets and fish boxes.
It's also great for installing heads and showers.
Sika Marine Hardware Installation and Sealing Kit
This kit is great for installing and sealing all hardware, sealing all
wet areas, anchoring decorative items, installing hatches, vents and ports,
replacing rub rails and guards and for performing repairs above and below
the water line. It is also great for bedding removable accessories, tile and
other flooring.
In addition to the proper sealing or bonding materials with easy-to-use
applicators, each kit includes Scrubs(R) Hand Cleaner, a pair of latex
gloves and "How-To" step-by-step instructions to eliminate all guesswork. Sika
adhesives and sealants are permanently flexible, resistant to most chemicals
and can be painted or sanded.
