ED&D; Inc. Releases Revolutionary 2-Wire Control Technology for the Boating and Luxury Motor Coach Industry

OVIEDO, Fla., Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- ED&D; Inc., an engineering,
development and design company announces the general availability of its E
Plex technology. ED&D;, who's roots stem from the development of sensing,
control and monitoring technology for the fossil fuel and nuclear power
generation industry has begun shipping its E Plex system into the
Recreational Vehicle and Marine Industry.
E Plex is an "intelligent" true multiplexed I/O system that is unique in the
market. One of the major features that sets it apart from the current CAN
bus product offerings is the ability to transmit and receive not only data,
but also power through its same 2-wire network. The E Plex system is self-
diagnosing and error-correcting and provides many benefits such as
eliminating the mass bundles of wires (always associated when hard wiring
each device from unit to unit/control or switching point), reducing labor
costs, installation costs and maintenance costs. It also integrates all
systems into one that provides the monitoring, control data logging and
remote access capabilities in one reduced user-friendly package.

The E Plex system includes an entire family of sensors, controls and display
panels and utilizes a GUI based programming tool called E Logic for laying
out the design, simulating the system and generating the code necessary for
programming the modules. It even provides a costed bill of materials of the
E Plex modules used once the design is completed.
